Crytek Partners with Microsoft for 360 Exclusive Action Titl

Post » Thu Aug 26, 2010 12:08 am
It seems like Crytek has turned there backs on the PC community, I understand that there's more money to be made on consoles and piracy is hurting the PC development community, but Crytek is here because of the strong support from PC gamers not Xbox and Playstation
True but X360 games get pirated as much and PC games, PLUS, the PS3 just got jailbroken so it's just a matter of time they start to lose as much money or more on consoles too.

What you all have to realize is that microsoft pulls these stunts all the time. They pay can loads of money to have Crytek have an exclusive title. They did this Rockstar as well

what i mean about Rockstar is that they realized Ballad of Gay Tony and The lost and damned only exclusive for the xbox for a time. Rockstar however eventually released them for the pc after a certain time. If they can do that to rockstar they can do it to other companies.

Thats Microsoft for you. even though I have no problem with companies making money, microsoft does it in the cruelest way possible.

they pay other companies to have exclusive titles and I bet there paying Crytek to have a content as well. Though I am very happy that crytek is releasing Crytek to all systems and making the experience the same.

^^^^ Sony and Nintendo do the same thing, but not to the same scale as MS, because MS has so much $$$$ to spend on stuff like that. hey I'm not complaining, I'm a proud 360 owner! :D

They were also released on PS3 at the same time as PC, but yeah, your point is still valid there. I didn't realise that had happened so thanks for the info :)

So we can still hope that Crytek will release Codename Kindoms for PC sometime.
