Well if you make a game and 80% of your sales are on console...which one will you develop for? Cmon don't give me moral ****...the point of a business is to make money. It will piss PC Gamers off but due to human nature, developers will care more about consoles...there is more money to be made there. Crytek sold 3 million copies of Crysis 1 in a year. For Crysis 2 they sold 700,000 in just a week. If the trend continues they should have 3 million copies of Crysis 2 sold in 5-6 weeks.

I am a PC Gamer, but I also understand things from a developer's perspective:

1.) PC is easier to develop for, but the returns are far lower.
2.) Actual amount of piracy is the same, but retuns are much higher on console.
3.) Console owners aren't as vocal about small issues. Less pressure.
4.) Less buggy product due to only two hardware sets.

Yes. FYI, the PC forums are what Crytek is paying the most attention to on gamesas. Console gamers think Crytek has totally left them in the dust. Seriously man, let me tell you what Crytek is doing now:

1-Addressing all PC issues, single and multiplayer.

2-Making patches and updates to the best of their abilities to fix the PC verison

3-Finishing up DX11 to give to PC

4-Preparing the Sandbox Editor 3 as fast as possible to get it released in the summer so it can compete with the UDK

AND THEY ARE DOING ALL OF THIS before addressing the console issues. ALL OF THIS, BEFORE the console issues. I'm sure they are also paying attention to the console gamers in some aspects (because FYI, the console versions actually have some pretty freakin SERIOUS issues) and are trying to fix those too, but they are mainly trying to fix up the PC version too. And whoever said console gamers aren't vocal about their issues, that's incorrect lol...no offense tho.

Well what is the point of developing these power house graphics cards if developers are only going to develop titles for five year old consoles?

Because the developers know that people like you fill the market with empty dreams of games devs giving us something that will push our systems, and the sheer fact that nowadays, name bears more weight than substance.

It's the same principle whereby apple could put the apple logo on a brick, and sell it as an iBrick. It would still sell millions in the first week.

Yes they did, primarily due to the fact that a lot more work goes into pc patches as opposed to console patches.
