Stock game/no mods at all

Updated 6850 drivers and sound
running the exe as admin
added to DEP exception
tried in various compat modes
changed to all sorts of sound bit rates
tried deleting the high res packs but still happens

Thsi game use to run just fine from retail but once they started "fixing" stuff and patching the game all hell broke loose eventually and i got nothing but CTD's. I got the High res pack to work and had no crashes till they "fixed" stuff again and that caused me to crash on startup or once inside the game every time. Not been able to play this for months now

Now it is almost guaranteed to get into the game and see the skyrim logo...dude talks about ...."along with that Horse thief over there" ....The Microsoft RS button symbol appears...and then a CTD at that spot %100. Every time and its getting annoying
