Curing lycanthropy - need help

Post » Mon Aug 20, 2012 8:09 pm

So, i don't want to be a werewolf anymore, and i'm looking for a cure.
I already cured Kodlak, Farkas and Vilkas, and at that time when i cured them, i also cured myself, following the Companions questline.

I then became Harbinger, and after playing for many hours (i was already cured) i turned into a vampire, by accident.

I didn't know how to cure myself, so i went to Aela and asked for her to turn me into a werewolf again, and that cured my vampirism, but now i can't cure the lycanthropy.

I went to the "Flame of the Harbinger" and i have a witch head, but nothing happens when i click it.

Anyone has a hint about this?

I believe i killed my wolf spirit in the first time that i cured myself in the temple, but now i just can't do it again!

Thanks in advance and i hope someone knows the answer for this, since everywhere i look, people talk about the purity quests and blablabla, but yes, i already complete them.

The last quest i did a few minutes ago was to help Aela to get 3 artifacts and now all i get are some random quests to kill animals etc.

Why would you even turn back into a werewolf if you didn't want to be one you could have just cured the vampirism normally

Spoiler
I'm assuming you have DG because you got lycanthropy again.
In that case you become a vampire Lord again. Head to Morthal, talk to some barkeeps, once you hear something about Fallon go to him and start his little quest to purify you of your vampirism.

Unless you want the Resting Bonus, there is no reason not to remain a werewolf. You don't have to give in to the blood of the beast unless you want to. But if your RPing a healed non-werewolf character I don't believe you can cure now.

In hindsight you can cure vampirism through a quest in Falkreath and don't need to be turned into a werewolf to cure it.

I had this bug it was before DG was released I had the head of the hagraven in the correct tomb with the fire. I click on the fire but nothing happend I was doing this the first time round. I couldn't cure myself of the curse, so I had to use a console command to do it.
