Hey guys,

I bought New Vegas on steam and after downloading and installing it played it for about half an hour when my Laptop crashed, i think due to overheating as it quite often does while playing games.
when i rebooted my laptop and started the game up again the cursor on the menu had disappeared. i used the arrows keys to load up my save and none of the controls respond in game. i cannot pull up the pause menu or even go to task manager. i had to press tab and shift to open the steam overlay thing and then desktop out of the game from there. i have un-installed and re downloaded the game and the cursor still will not appear and the controls still do not respond.

Any ideas on how to get the game working again?
