Custom NPC Faces are grey!

Post » Mon Nov 19, 2012 2:38 pm

Whenever I make an NPC (follower) their faces are always grey.

If anybody knows a solution to my problem, any help would be appreciated, thanks.

With your NPC highlighted in the Actor list, hit Ctrl-F4 and it will export the facegen data and should clear it up for you.

I tried that but it didn't work, do you mean highlight the NPC in the actor list of the Object window, because thats what I tried.

It should work. Be sure you're actor is highlighted, hold down CTRL and hit F4 and it works every time for me.

Did it ask for confirmation, then say that is successfully made the files? If not then you are highlighting them in the wrong section. Make sure you have the 'Actor' section selected, then highlight them and try.

If the record is open or the preview window is open it won't work either. I always close, then open the CK to make sure any buffered data is flushed if I just edited an actor.

Thanks, worked like a treat, I think the reason it didn't work the first time was that I had searched for my NPC in the object window text box thing,
instead of in Object Window/Actors/Actor.
