Daedra Hearts - Ebony Veins : V

Well I know the two are not in large quantities. I do have a lot of ebony from one mine I found and buying off vendors every time I see it. If anyone can tell me mines/areas they have seen it at I would appreciate it. I will list all answers on here as a list if enough people respond.

Also Daedra Hearts? I have found I think 2 the entire time I have been playing my Norde BS (lvl 100 BS) and I want to make a Daedra set for my collection/use. (Not a fan of the dragon armor look to be honest. Hate the helmet.)

I am wondering if my only real bet is to keep hitting up the alchemy shops and Bits and Pieces. Any info is again greatly appreciated.

I found a heart off of a dead necromancer, I used it to make a health potion. Sad. Face.

At the top of the Throat of the World, there are usually 2 ebony veins and 2 malachite veins.

edit: do you mind sharing the name of the mine that you found that has ebony veins?

Yeah, that is where I found it.

I sold it early on being a derpa derp.

Edit: Nordecus I found it at one of the Orc Tribe Strongholds.. I think one of the ones on the right side of Skyrim.

When I get on tonight I will defiantly post this for you. They found a mine and they even talk about Ebony being there so it seems like a set location.

I can't remember the name but there was a unmarked mine in stonestor or something that once you've cleared out the spiders there are ebony veins in there.

Deadra hearts can be found on the Dremora inside Azura's Star in The Black Star quest. Other than that I've found a few lying around and in shops, but not many.

I keep hearing people say that but I can't find them anywhere, only 2 corundum veins.

It is entirely possible that veins scale.

You can't "farm" dremora, they only appear in scripted quest. And they don't respawn. There are 3 or 4 in the Mehrunes Dagon questline, and 2 in Azura's. Im sure other shrines have them too, also viles does not.

You can just keep fast travelling back and forth to the mountain every few days (game time). Keep checking I'm sure you will start seeing it once you level up a bit.

Sadly the quest which gets you the Dawnbringer does not give you Daedra hearts. At least I got none.

Seems I need to re-check that ebony mine to see if it has re-spawned as well. Been quite some time.

Go to Western Watch Tower and start traveling to North from there don't go left or right just aim forward to North climb up on that mountain, at top of it there is Shrine of Mehrunes Dagon. In front of if there should be two daedras kill them and loot hearts also loot key, enter that shrine next to that Altar... inside there are two more, You can come back to this place once a week thats what respawn is, maybe a bit longer remember (you need to stay away from that shrine so mobs will respawn it works like "phasing" so if you are there and wait for 7 days it wont respawn. Basically you can farm hearts there.

Gloombound Mine is a rich Ebony Mine, the Shor's Stone mine has a few veins, as for Hearts, the Azura's quest can get you three, I've found one on a Necromancer before, and you can occasionally find one in alchemical stores. I found one in the ingredient store in Whiterun

I remember some orc stronghold in the east was situated near an ebony mine... All I remember is the chieftan mentioning his ebony mine and that it was a very eastern-located stronghold, almost on the border to Morrowind.

In Blackreach you can ebter sinditur (i spelled that wrong. he was the ninroot guy last game) 's hideout. there is a dadra heats in there. 2 ninroots and a crimpson one as well.

You can get 4 from the Deadra you fight during the Mehrunes Razor quest. Starts in Dawnstar Museum.

If you have the money its just easier and quicker to buy it all at local shops.

GloomBound Mine is a good place to get Ebony ore , the veins "Respawn" after 30 days (Game time).

You can buy Daedra hearts from Enirth(?) i beleive he has 2 and hes in the hall of attainment(Second floor) After 2 days he will have two more.

Daedra Hearts:

Spoiler

Won't ruin it completely (but will ruin it to a sense)

1) Start the quest in Dawnstar regarding 'Visiting Dawnstar Museum' (It's actually a Daedric Artifact leading quest)
2) After finding all the 'pieces', the quest giver will ask to meet you at Merhunes Dagon's Shrine.
3) Blah blah blah you get a reward and Dagon has a parting surprise = 2 Dremora come after you = 2 Hearts for the taking
4) There is an altar inside with 2 more Dremora = 2 more Hearts
5) There you go 4 easy Hearts
6) They respawn after 1-3 weeks game time.
7) I probably spelled some things wrong

Was nothing in front of the temple when I got there, but the statue was pretty awesome....you also need a key to get inside. I did however find a camp at the base of that mountian, some sort of group fighting foul creatures, there is a heart on the table inside the hall. All you need to is follow the steps down from the shrine, and look right at the bottom so you see the building. Oh you can only steal the heart.

There's a Daedric Heart laying in the Hall of the Vigilant

It's a little bit south of Dawnstar
