I have nothing but official downloads and I'm not seeing anything terribly wrong in your pic

Is the time of day in-game having anything to do with it- the amount of light available makes it appear that way? Have you changed video card drivers? Messed with video settings? Honestly, I'm not seeing anything out of the ordinary in that screenshot

I just started having this problem too. Nord weapons now almost look enchanted because they have a purple tinge to them. Very odd.

I have some mods installed like textures and that but no weapon mods. The only things that changed recently for me are now using simple borderless window mod, better sorting mod, and of course 1.3 update.

Haven't had a chance to test if any of these is the problem.

Yeah better sorting is the only mod that has remotely anything to do with weapons for me. I'm going to try taking it out tonight and loading a save that was from before and after it.

I don't use enb but do use FXAA injectors but it can't be that.

I just remembered I did also just install one of the darker nights darker interiors mods which alters the green\blue tint on the game in general. I wonder if that shifted the hue of some items if it's bugged.

Guess I have some testing to do.

You use any darker nights type mods?

no, I dont have any darker nights mod installed and no texture mod

just scared it is a graphic card problem, if it's not graphic card problem actually it does not bother me to much...

maybe i try start a new clean new game and see if i still have the tint.

I get the missing textures / purple items issue if I've been playing too long. The game just simply runs out of memory I think. Its a sign telling you to restart the game. lol

EDIT: oh, I see, that issue in your picture is different. Nevermind. The issue I'm talking about is solid purple / missing textures.

I had the same problem with purple daedric armor and it was caused by the latest version of Glowing Ore Veins. I rolled back to an earlier version and no more purple

the games loads a standard purple mesh if textures load incorrectly when loading a scene. This is built into the engine and is not and issue.
It happened in previous games as well.

You have two options:
leave the area and come back
or just quick save and restart the game

ive found this tends to happen more often if you overclock your video card.

Glowing Ore Veins UPDATED

2.00
-Rebuilt the mod form the ground up.
-Meshes point to new cubemaps so the original cubemaps are untouched.
-This mod no longer affects the textures of non-vein objects.

If you are updating from an older version, and not using the Nexus mod manager.
-Browse to your Skyrim/Data/Textures folder and delete the cubemaps folder.

If you are updating from an older version, and you are using the Nexus mod manager.
-Make sure you uninstall the previous versions of this mod.
