Daedric Armor with Magic Resistance?

Post » Tue May 29, 2012 10:32 am

Hi,

since I am using daedric armor and don't have any enchanting skills I usually get pawned by mages. My question is, is there a piece of daedric armor in the game which gives you magic resistance?

Yes from random drops, specially end dungeon chests, from lvl 41/42, use lord stone/agent of mara to get better resists.

You can only find magic resistance on amulets, rings and shields. Fire/cold/shock resistance can be found on amulets, rings, shields and boots.
There's a unique light armor chestpiece with 25% magic resistance. Start the quest for that in the Falkreath Prison.

Do the quest called Book of Love from the Temple of Mara in Riften, and activate the Lord Stone. Those will both give you resistance too.

Do the Agent of Mara quest and activate the Lord Stone, there's 40% MR for you

Edit: Already said by the guy above, I'm slow.

Do Periyite's deadric quest for Spellbreaker. It is technically only dwarven, but if you are blocking when a spell hits you then it negates the first 50 points of damage. That's better than any enchant is going to get you. You just have to pay attention and know when to block.

Sounds good, but I'm not using a shield, I'm using two weapons.
