I started an assasin/thief character a while back and was researching the best daggers to use when I stumbled on a video capture tutorial on you tube. The video starts outside Warmaidens blacksmith in Whiterun. Shown from the first person view you can’t tell what type of character it is and I’m not sure if it matters but some sort of spells are used. Anyway, the character turns around and heads over to the guards barracks. Walks up the ramp and onto the roof and is now facing back towards Warmaidens. Turns to the right a little then jumps up onto the barrels. Watches the guard patrolling on the wall above the front gate. When the guard turns his back the character unleashes two spells. I don’t know which (I’m just a Nord with a two-handed weapon fixation). The guard falls down into the drain running under the bridge. The character jumps down from the roof, walks down into the drain to where the body lies. Upon searching the body he finds a weapon amongst the guards possesions labelled “Dagger of Crap” which is an Iron dagger that does an insane amount of damage! I got back on you tube this morning and can’t find the video anywhere. Also googled it but to no avail.

My questions are:

Has anyone else heard of this?

If so, is it a PC mod?

Was it just a joke?

I woke up with a headache the next morning. Was it just a dream?

There is nothing in the game files that is a "Dagger of Crap"

Never seen it, even with two weapons mods...

1. It's a joke; no such item exists and can only be crafted via high stats and exploits.

More than likely either was enchanted to an extremely high level through an exploit, or simply fixed to a certain point with commands.

well i didnt read your whole post in case of spoilers i didnt know, but what i will say is ive never heard of a "dagger of crap" so it was renamed by player via enchanting or console if thats what your asking

Yes, that’s it! Nice one. I’d seen so many videos that night I was beginning to think I’d just made it up. I got some of the details wrong but that is definitely the video I was thinking of.

It's definitely fake. You're not going to find any weapons with the (Legendary) tag on them. You can only get that by improving them on the grindstone.

I say fake as well. The player probably use the restoration loop to create an insane smithing potion. Then used telekenesis to throw the knife above the gate.
