I have thought about this today, Who would win this fight?

sure we know that only the Dragonrend Shout can cripple Alduin, but is that the "only way" to hurt him? I know its the only way the Dragonborn or mortals could hurt him, but Dagoth Ur is neither....

Dagoth Ur - by the 2nd Era 882 Dagoth Ur had became a God. He alone became more powerful then all 3 of the Tribunal Members combined when they were at full power. Dagoth Ur may not need Dragonrend to hurt Alduin considering he the Heart of Lorkhan, and tools and abilities that are far out of the reach of mortals...

Alduin- First born of Akatosh, The World Eater. only way known to mortals to hurt him is the Dragonrend shout. Has very powerful shouts and Voice Powers.

My Answer: My vote goes to Dagoth Ur. The dude had become a God by the 2nd Era 882. As long as his connection to the Heart is not severed, I don't see how Alduin could defeat him. now don't get me wrong, Alduin is strong, but in this case he would be going up against a being that at the very least is almost as strong as Lorkhan himself....thats a tall order....I think Dagoth Ur's powers while connected to the heart would give him enough power to hurt...possibly even kill Alduin without the Dragonrend shout....afterall, we are talking this guy has the powers of a God....even Alduin is not a god...he is the son of a divine...but he is not a god....lorkhan's powers are in his heart, and Dagoth Ur has control of them. If Alduin could server his connection to the Heart of Lorkhan, he could kill Dagoth Ur, but if he couldn't...i just don't see how alduin would win this one.

What are your thoughts? Tell me who would win and why...im just curious

Why would he win? i could see reasons Alduin would win, but I could also see reasons why Dagoth Ur would...im just curious why you think alduin would win?

Alduin, in his ture form, can eat the world.

Dagoth-Ur aint got nothing on that.

As much as I like Dagoth Ur as a character, Alduin in combat would absolutely devastate him, Dagoth would need to the Thum...which he cant.

Considering the boss battle with Alduin in Skyrim and comparing that to the boss fight in Morrowind with Dagoth Ur, I'd say Dagoth would win, game-wise.

Alduin would win otherwise, considering he is the nordic aspect of Akatosh/Auriel and can eat Nirn. Dagoth may be able to take over Tamriel with his army of ash-slaves but I don't think he can eat a planet.

Alduin is NOT a good...in fact...Dagoth Ur may be as powerful as Akatosh himself or pretty darn close....and we all know Alduin couldn't defeat Akatosh....Well Dagoth Ur is pretty close at his height to being as strong as Lorhkan himself...i'd say Dagoth Ur probably has about 95% of Lorkhan's power at his strongest...which is considerable and makes him a God...something Alduin isn't.

True Dagoth Ur can't Shout, but he may not need to.

Dagoth Ur can control the weather...take control of the winds and prevent Alduin from being able to fly, Bring down mountains on his head, Flood the world...even bring a full blown meteor down on his skull....remember Vivec was holding a giant Meteor in the sky prevent it from landing on morrowind...and the Tribunal wasn't even at full power then....Dagoth Ur at full power could do literally godly things....

Alduin may be able to eat, but Dagoth Ur isn't going to make it easy for him..the Heart of lorhkan gives him immense divine power quite literally making him a God....I think it would be a very close matchup

Alduin is an aspect of Akatosh and has the job of eating the whole world from time to time. He even made Mehrunes Dagon.

Dagoth Ur was a great power but he can't eat the world or create other Gods.
