DAMN YOU PLAYSTATION!

I recently sold my 360 because of the fact that it was collecting dust for far too long and now I'm really bummed that the PS3 store isn't up, Bethesda! You should offer a discount on Honest Hearts once the store re-launches in a week or two!
Or a package deal with Dead Money and Honest Hearts because I'm sure a lot of people are upset that they can't download this DLC, I know I am!

That is all.

Why should Bethesda give us a discount? Sony got hacked, and it is in the process of relaunching the PS Store. Just take a deep breath, relax, and just wait for a little while.

It would be SMART on their behalf because I'm sure people who want to play it are going to be going to their 360's and purchasing it there instead.
So not only would it be awesome of them to bundle the package for people who haven't picked them up yet but eagerly waited on their ps3 instead of buying it on their 360, it shows customer appreciation and a good marketing tactic.

THAT'S WHY.

It's another week or two, relax, go outside, tan a little.

If anything PSN being hacked has been pretty great. I now remember my password AND I'm getting free games + DLC + Movies and music. How is 24 days of the server being down and say a month or 5 weeks of the store being down bad compared to that?

So, Bethesda should give PS3 users a discount to discourage them from buying it on XBL for full price? Yeah, that makes a lot of sense. Are you sure you don' t mean SONY should give a discount? Then it would make more sense

Sony has ate MORE than enough loss, they have spent millions on research, fixing and correcting the problem.
Then they went out of the way by pouring ton's of money into free stuff, plus credit checking services, etc.

When Micro$oft went down for 2 week's, they just issued a "apology" and that was that, the worst part is that XBOX Live is a paid service, which means your money goes into maintaining the servers, etc.
And their servers crashed around Christmas of 2008 for 2 week's. Where was this money really going to??? Advertising?
This is why I've migrated away from the dark side and to the right side.

I have both consoles. I picked up the PS3 originally just so I could buy Yakuza 3(great series.) But I still play things like Black Ops on it. I've downloaded things from it etc. My issue with Sony is not that they were hacked, but how they handled it. Hell I don't even expect anything in return from them as this is a business issue. If the bank makes a mistake on your account, they fix the mistake. They don't give you another 50.00 dollars because they screwed up. But that is no excuse for a major company to wait 6 days before going public with the fact hackers potentially took things like names, email addresses, and credit card numbers. Even their "apology" focuses more on the service outage, not the massive breach of security concerning my personal information. Offering free credit reports is a nice step, but if they were motivated, 6 days free time with someone's credit card and name is enough time to royally screw them for a very very long time.

Why would bethesda choose to cut its profits because the psn store is down, it would be Sony if anyone and where already getting a bunch of free stuff. Also your argument about people just switching to 360 is way off the majority of people own 1 console so their stuck even if you had both why would you buy a single player game twice most people wouldn't I also doubt anyone thats even remotely mentally stable would switch consoles due to a delayed dlc. We just have to wait a few days no big deal play another game until its out.

Agreed. Bethesda is not going to take a price hit over Sony's issues. And Sony is not going to eat the difference on a discount. This would open up a whole new can of worms that Sony wouldn't be able to handle. If Bethesda did it then Activision would be expected to do it with the recent Call of Duty Black Ops map pack that came out. It just isn't feasible. To even expect them to consider doing it is naive.

I sense a flaw in that logic.

Bethesda has nothing to do with delay with PS3 version of Honest hearts.

The guy who hacked the PS3 network and Sony (for having a lousy security system) are responsible and you should seek compensastion from those people if you must.
