Daughters of Coldharbour

Just finished Dawnguard and I liked it. I sided with the humans this time round.

I just have a question I wish to put out there. I am guessing there is no way for my character to become a Daughter of Coldharbour ?
And that the only way to be a vampire is to be given it by Harkon or his daughter? Other than catching it off other vampires in Skyrim.

So in effect there is no way to be a pure blood vampire.

Another question is that in Oblivion if you became a vampire your character started to look ugly. In Skyrim looking at some of the loading screens the same kind of thing happens to your face. It changes and looks nothing like Serena who still looks relatively human but with glowy eyes.

I wonder if Serena can be married as well ? She is cute looking.

No you cannot be a Daughter of Coldharbour because you would have to "give yourself" to Molag Bal on his summoning day. As far as appearances go, you don't look that bad(at least my character doesn't). And no you cannot marry Serana.

Dawnguard pretty much screwed up my character's own RP backround as they were born with vampirism through a degrading ritual with their mother while in her womb. But to be a Daughter of Coldharbour, once must offer themselves to Molag Bal in his summoning day and be given vampirism by him. Lore-wise, it can be done, though it is rare for one to survive. Gameplay-wise? Hahaha.

Would be interesting to see that Gameplay-wise if bethesda ever added that option. :touched:
