Dawngaurd or vampires? : V

Im at the part in the story wether i want to become a vampire or a dawnguard and i just dont know the pros and cons of them both what have you guys chose and whats good about it???? Thanks

Go dawnguard,you get a dwarven crossbow,can hire armored trolls and can make selena cure her vampirisim(you can also become a vampire lord)

As a vampire you get a turd on a plate.

Make a save. Then play one side, and when finished go back to this save and play the other. That's what I'm in the process of doing.

LOL this is a no brainer...be a filthy blood svcking scum that feasts on the weak and innocent...OR...Be a brave, fearsome vampire hunter equipped with crossbows, Armoured huskies, Armoured trolls, Dawnguard weapons and more...make your choice

Make a save. Then play one side, and when finished go back to this save and play the other. That's what I'm in the process of doing.

Just do this to be safe and see what you like most.

If you side with the Vampires you can get deathhounds as companions and artifacts that super buff your character in both Vampire Lord form and normal Vampire form....it makes sense though, Dawnguard gets the strongest bow in the game so the vampires had to get something to balance it out.

Basically...except for the fact that the artifacts you can only get on the Vampire side help your character in the long run while the Dawnguard's weapons mainly only do well against vampires..their best thing is the crossbow and armored trolls..and the equivalent of that is the artifacts and deathhounds.

I chose the dawnguards because thats what i wanted to be from the start but i made a save so if i dont like it i can go back and choose the vampires

Except the artifacts that super buff your character ONLY available if you side with the Vampires..the equivalent of it is the Dwarven crossbow on the Dawnguard side.
