I haven't played skyrim in a few months. I was wondering if I could play dawnguard with my level 32 wizard which I finished the main quest with... will the game be balanced or will I be overpowered?

The DLC is designed for a level 10 character to start it, but that is the lower end of the scaling, not the level of the enemies.

The enemies are scaled up. My level 52 character I took through the DLC had some battles that I died in. Mostly it was bad strategy on my part, but still tough battles.
