Dawnguard Attacking Me On Sight HELP! : V

So I walk into dayspring canyon heading towards Fort Dawnguard when for no reason what so ever the two guards outside the fort attack me for no reason and i can't get them to stop I run past into the fort and even the leader who I am supposed to talk to attacks me.

Sorry if this is in the wrong section but it's just really annoying when I've just paid 1600 microsoft points for something which so far I can't even play. Anybody have any idea why this is happening?

The dawnguard are only NPCs that will acknowledge a stage 4 vampire.

I've had to run back to the entrance to the canyon and return to skyrim until i can figure out what I need to do

Is agmer the fisherman you come to as soon as you enter? if so no I didn't I haven't attacked anyone

Stage 4 Vamp makes no difference. I entered that area with 4 different characters and reloaded it at least 50 times. This was not an issue that was seen by anyone in the Beta.

Still, that does not help with your problem. I'd suggest reloading to a save before you activated the quest.

I did have a bounty for killing a couple of thalmor just outside the entrance to the canyon I've paid by bounty so I will return now and see if that makes a difference

I wouldn't start a new character, unless you have no other alternative. What level are you now, and did you reload "before" you got wind of Dawnguard by a guard or the Orc? That is when the quest is entered into your log. Not before just entering the cave.

I'm level 40 at the minute but it wouldn't be a problem for me to start a new character if its the last option I have. And sadly no the only previous save I had was just before entering the canyon not before i received the quest from the orc

So, clearing the bounty didn't solve the issue?

I have the same problem but I don't have a bounty neither am I a vampire.

If that doesn't work. You could try to make a "clean save" and reinstall Dawnguard. At least that way wouldn't have to restart a new character and it would reset the questline.
