Not to give the DLC credit (I haven't played it, myself, as a PC user), but most people posting here will be posting about how much they don't like it. The people who like it will be playing it.

I think this DLC is awesome. I haven't finished the main game before getting the Dawnguard, but I played more than 4 to 500 hours total with several characters before sticking with my current one to play the whole thing and the Dawnguard. Then, I have noticed that if you play Skyrim long enough, you will see many places, items, and books that weren't before downloading the Dawnguard. It is definitely worth getting this expansion for 1600 MSP. There is definitely a lot more stuff in this DLC than you would have imagined before getting it. If you love playing Skyrim, you should like this DLC too.

It's ok. It's not the greatest thing since sliced bread but not the worst I've played....

People love the DLC deep down but its basic human nature to want to complain so they find reasons to dislike it.

Great quote, really summed it up for everyone, it's amazing how you can see into everybodies mind and tell them what they like!

Good summation.

I think people are saying that they hate it, even if they really love it, just because they cant admit bethesda pulled off vampires vs vampire hunters, and made it great.

Well the vast majority of people who are enjoying their time with the game/dlc are busy playing :D I know I am. Bugs and glitches are to be expected with games such as these, luckily I haven't ran into anything yet

It has a great story...I'm just not fond of your choices in the overall ending. But the addition of the crossbow and perk trees to the werewolf and vamp more than made up for any bugs or my above mentioned issue.

Good start but it's a simple dlc(one of the best on xbox), but i want a real expansion, this game lack alot of features.

With this dlc they give use a good vampire , crossbow, can creating all arrow and one new type of arrow, new type of weapon, some spells(but only against vampire), a new questline with three way to finish, it's not bad , but bethesda can do more even with console limit the game.

We need more spell , more weapon/armor/item (and i known it's impossible probably but i really want see a style different for different weapon), a good way for spellcrafting, and more things , and if is possibile less bug and more attention next time and don't give use a bugged dlc we can't play

It's cool imho if it wasn't for the fact that european version (so mine too) is bugged and I can't play it...

I love it as well, I have been lucky, and experienced no bugs apart from after the MQ, I cannot dismiss Serana in any way without "losing" her as a follower.

I have close to 50 hours in with side quests etc....

Its true the negatives will get more posts. In a way thats good as it will (hopefully), get things fixed that others are having trouble with.

Yeah dont get me wrong, my whole game is buggy (playen on xbox) to the point of frustration, but all TES games are buggy. I love the DLC because I dont feel like a wimpy werewolf any more. Before the DLC i wouldent even use the werewolf transfermation. Havent played the Vampire side of things yet, still trying to work on a vampire character.
