Im speaking to my friend on xbox right now and hes just said that he loaded up his game and everything dawnguard related has gone. He has nothing in his hands when before he went off the game he had dragon bone weapons. There are no Dawnguard related quests in his log anymore, he has tried re installing the dlc and the patches to no avail. How can dlc just disappear? Good job Bethesda, cant wait for Fallout 4! Is this fixable guys? Thanks.

If the DLC is missing for some reason, it would stand to reason that any content from that DLC would not be with the character anymore.

However it is in the save, so once you reinstall DG, then what you had with your character will still be there. As long as you have not save over the file after DG went away.

Is he on the same xbox that he originally downloaded them on? DLC is tied to both the gamertag and console used to originally download and it needs at least one of them active to initialize so if he's on a different console and not signed onto Xbox Live with the gamertag he used to purchase it then it won't load.

He had an hour break, came back on and its gone. He has even tried loading saves from hours ago and its still not there. Weird.
