Im thinking of buying one. Which do you think had a better overall experience?

If it matters I'll be playing it as a non magic non stealth full metal jacket warrior character

You mean Dawnguard or Dragonborn? I have only played the former, but I heard the latter was much better

Even worse, you're speaking fantasy draconic.

They're both good, but Dragonborn adds more. As far as I know, since Dragonborn isn't out on PC yet.

Both! but if you had to pick hard to say but i did enjoy Dawnguard more it had a better story in my opinion. Dragonborn was good since it was a whole new location and new stuff all around but the story wasn't is long

Wait, it wasn't as long? Because the story in Dawnguard was pretty short and only mediocre storyline to begin with. (aka, about the length and quality of the other guilds in the game)

I say get both but If you have to choose, get Dragonborn. You get a whole lot more content than Dawnguard for the same price.

Are you a vampire? If so, get Dawnguard. If not, Dragonborn.

I kinda didn't like how they reduced the debuffs for vampires. I never played a vampire in Skyrim until Dawnguard, but being a vampire in Oblivion was really quite hard work, avoiding the sun, sneaking into the night to svck someone's blood. Now in Skyrim, all you have is a small HSM recharge penalty
