Right now I'm at the Forgotten Vale. According to gameplay guides, after I approach the word wall in the middle of the frozen lake, I should have a dragon fight.

Yet I approached it...and nothing happened, besides getting the word.

Anyone know what might cause this. Up till that point I was using Dragons Diversified, but I removed it as I heard it was causing problems with the DLC. Is that a possible culprit?

Not sure on the mod history, but going to add a note that the Frozen Lake event won't occur if you haven't gotten that far in the main quest [I want to say after the Western Tower is attacked].
