personally i like dawnguard i had no super huge expectations of it like most pple do i just like it becouse i get more quest to do from the things i do in game already its a nice extension to a nice story in this series.

They are treating Dawnguard as an expansion rather a DLC. Bethesda tried to make Dawnguard as much of an expansion pack as possible, which is difficult because of the DLC limitations. I think they did a pretty good job, considering the limited tools they had to work with

Only problem Bethesda did was, Todd keep saying that it would feel like an expansion. That it would be bigger than a dlc but smaller than shimmering Isles. He keep pushing it would feel like an expansion, well im giessing by the reviews it dosent.

I wasn't expecting Dawnguard to change the game. And for what I paid, four days later I'm still having fun with it.
That's really all I could have asked, now that I think about it.
