I have been following the dawnguard release thread for sometime, as I am a PS3 user. I rarely post, but had a thought. Why release DG now? If HF is a 30 day exclusive, and is ready for the PS3, that would mean PS3 users get it 30 days layer hypothetically.

Now, assume DG came out this week. A lot would buy it, regardless of what some say. Well, from a marketing standpoint, I am sure that releasing both at the EXACT same time would have people downloading both, and certainly be a more successful ps3 launch.

My point is, what's the odds of acquiring both the week of Oct 4th? I for one will certainly DL them both.

Also, if you think your gonna come here to say your not gonna DL either, why are you here? Serious responses only. Mods move if needed, but I feel this deserves it's own topic.

me and a friend we're dicussing that last night at work, They rolled patch 1.7 in with 1.6 for PS3 users, what stopping them from doing the same with the DLC? Assumeing they get it to work.
