Im up to the point in the dawnguard quest line where you're about to enter the Soul Cairn and you have a choice to become a vampire lord or not. I was just wondering if this decision has any repercussions, for example does this choice mean that I can't do any more stuff with the dawnguard? If anyone could tell me that would be great, oh and I've already completed the vampire quest line so don't worry about ruining the ending for me. Thanks guys.

You do not have the choice to become a vampire lord. Just a vampire. When you leave the soul cairn you can cure it. But if you want to make things easy, just have her partially soul trap you. You can hardly notice your weakness.

If you chose to become a vampire you get the lord form too, you can choose to become a vamp lord at the end of the Dawnguard MQ so if you want you can wait until you finish the MQ before changing.
