Dawnstar Sanctuary.What did you choose?

Post » Mon Jun 04, 2012 5:36 am

You know when you complete Hail Sithis! You can basically choose between buying the stuff for it,only buy some of it,or just keep the money.
All the stuff were:
- New banners (1000 gold)
- Poisoner's nook (5000 gold)
- Torture chamber (5000 gold)
- Secret entrance (5000 gold)
- Master bedroom (3000 gold)
If you chose any or none at all feel free to tell.

I myself chose to buy it all because I already have all the houses and it looks really great fully upgraded.

I especially like the secret entrance which is more a exit really.

My husband played that bit. He bought everything, then reloaded and didn't buy the poisoner's nook or the torture chamber. No poisoner's nook because he preferred the tree, and no torture chamber because it was just disgusting.

Mine is entirely upgraded, although I rarely use it. It's not the most practical of houses, since Dawnstar isn't exactly a metropolis and it is technically not even located in Dawnstar. I prefer Honeyside, or even Vlindrel Hall.

I bought it all to get it out of my quest log. The torture chamber pays for itself, thankfully, because I needed that last 5000 for training.

I bought it all and then used the prisoners to level up destruction and restoration hahahahaha (hey not my idea, I read it on the forums here!) =p

I did it all. If I had to do it over again I would not do the Torture chamber. That cost 5000, and if you torture the victims they tell you where they have hidden money that totaled 6200. Which is good I made a 1200 profit. But then you have to hear their screams. I would pay 1200 to shut them up. So I killed them. And then just didn't go in the room because there were dead people in their underwear hanging out in there.

I liked everything else (especially the bedroom) but probably wouldn't have done the secret exit because I never use it and I can't ever find it to use it to enter.

If I could only do one I would do the Master Bedroom and that would be pretty nice.

I almost never go there, but I fully decked it since I thought the DB needs a nice place to live, and I had way too much gold on my hands.
