Do dead bodies just stay in the world?

Post » Thu May 10, 2012 11:25 pm

So I've cleared a lot of dungeons/camps/etc in the game so far, killing a lot of bandits and what not. I'm just curious if their bodies actually just stay there forever. Or do they eventually disappear?

And also do camps/dungeons get reoccupied after awhile? Or once I wipe all of them do they just stay empty O_o

I think someone else said that it's 720 hours, couldn't say for sure, I also heard it should be 72
Sorry I can't help much
Hopefully someone else will confirm....

If it's like Oblivion you should loot all bodies and drop what you can't carry on ground and you can come back for it later.
If it's in the body it will vanish after time.

The strategy guide says, "most dungeons will repopulate anywhere from a few days after initial clearing, or it could take a month. Just occasionally check back." And by days or months, I mean game time, not real time. :P

Pretty sure they fade away. After around a month.

At the Ritual Stone I had a problem facing a necromancer and he raised a corpse I defeated the necromancer, then his minion faded to ash. Later on I went back to the area and the necromancer was back and the old ash pile was too I defeated him again and now there is two ash piles. I had this problem in Fallout 3 and NV. The non disappearing ash piles are really irritating.
