lol no ive actually spawned in the city from a save game and looked beside me where there was a guard covered in blood standing there and with in 5 seconds grunts and falls to the ground dead!!!! for no reason what so ever :brokencomputer:

the screens i provided were taken seconds after such incident

Well there was a reason, but nothing to do with Open Cities. That sort of random "NPCs drop dead" stuff used to happen with an older version of Oblivion Stutter Remover. If you're using that, you should find the updated version.

.....strange im using 4.1.... is there a newer one someplace else?

I don't recall any guards called "Private xxx" - what mod adds those names? And could it be the problem?

I have something similar like this, as I just walked in to the Bruma Dungeon, and this private was lying dead on the ground, in the middle of a lot of other guards who were alive. I'm using Open Cities Reborn, and the newest version of Oblivion Stutter Remover.

I'd like to know more about this. My FCOM game has guards sometimes dropping down dead (i can loot them, but I hear them talk too if I try to loot them!). Sometimes, I'll see the same guard walking about later as if nothing had happened!! :o I don't even use Open Cities... just Better Cities.

I had heard something about the extra wounding feature in MMM possibly doing this...specifically this one

I doubt this is the problem but you have 2 streamline esps...and they released version 3.1 a while ago

well i know its not streamline either cause the issue was occurring before i installed streamline.... and i cant figure 3.1 out it didnt seem to do anything for some reason

Even if not connected to this issue, you really should use Streamline 3.1 patched with the Open Beta Patch - the earlier releases were rather buggy.

I'll second that, belive that version was buggy... I think once it's been loaded, it doesn't solve the problems by uninstalling ether... :violin:

I doubt EW are causing those issues in the first case. Just saying. It's a bit annoying when mods get blamed for issues w/o proof IMO.

You've got a wrong load order here. Doubt it explains the dead guards, but it sill needs to be fixed.

The fact that they have names isn't important. Bash has a Guard Names tweak. If you want to know where they're coming from, get a copy of Refscope and go use it on them.

You need to update BOSS then because that got fixed when OCC 3.5 came out. In the meantime just put it up directly underneath the OOO ESP.

The updated readme in the patch should have made that pretty clear btw.

Remove your previous install. I'd also do a clean save, i.e. load a save w/o Streamline and resave. Not sure if it's needed in this case. Download/install http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=10400 - download/install Streamline_3dot1_Open_Beta Patch over 3.1.

delete 2.0 and 3.0 keep 3.1 you only need one esp.
I'm also having this problem btw with better cities tho not open cities.
