Dead Men's Respite, invisible walls in exit tunnel, workarou

So I was just doing Tending the Flames, which I have done before bug-free btw, and ran into quite a serious bug. This is not related to the puzzle door at all, I know people have had issues with that but this is completely different.

After killing King Olaf and looting his chest, I pulled the lever and opened the secret exit. But only a little way into the tunnel I found an impassable invisible wall.

EDIT: OK, I believe I found the cause of this glitch and feel really stupid. I spoiler'd the rest of my post, incase anyone's interested in how I initially got around it (could be useful for actual invisible walls maybe?). Would edit the topic title if I could.

The cause was me playing on a different character and saving as a Vampire Lord, before loading my current character and doing Tending the Flames. Apparently doing that and then loading a different character causes the second character to be treated as if they were as tall as a Vampire Lord. I fixed the problem by loading my Vampire Lord character, reverting form to normal, then saving over the previous save that was made as a Vampire Lord. Then when I loaded up my second character I was able to traverse the tunnel normally.

I caught on to this when immediately after exiting Dead Men's Respite, feeling proud of myself having out-glitched the glitch, I found myself too tall to enter the Crabber's Shanty.

Spoiler
Here's some description of how it behaved:
- I could shoot spells through the wall with no problem.
- I could summon creatures on the other side with no problem, and they appeared to pass through it with no problem either.
- Whirlwind Sprint did not get me through.
- Excessive jumping did not work, nor did the sneak-roll thing that you can glitch into from a jump. Walking/jumping backwards, sideways, forwards and every direction in-between had no effect. Sneaking did not help. Switching to 3rd-person view didn't help either.

Now obviously this is pretty bad, because in this particular dungeon you can't simply backtrack and exit the way you came in (you have to take a jump down a shaft that's impossible to climb out of). Imagine if I had been one of those who keeps only one save, and turns off autosaves! Luckily, I keep both autosaves and redundant manual saves. First, I tried reloading the autosave from entering the dungeon and clearing it again. Didn't work. Then I tried reloading my save in Solitude from just before I started Tending the Flames. Again, ran the dungeon but came up with the same problem. So not wanting to abandon my quest and having some time to blow I decide to experiment some more.

First I reanimated a Draugr Deathlord in Olaf's chambers and attempted to have it use Unrelenting Force on me to knock me through the wall. Unfortunately, I couldn't get it to use the full shout and eventually gave up.

Then I tried a different method. Getting right up against the edge of the invisible wall, I summoned a Dremora Lord on the other side. I carefully lowered it's health so it was barely alive but not hostile, then using a battleaxe I picked up earlier in the dungeon I killed it. I repeated until I got a 3rd-person view kill-cam, and it worked! After the kill-cam I found myself on the other side of the invisible wall (just as impenetrable from this side as well). First-person kill-cams did not work.

Near the end of the same tunnel I found 2 more invisible walls. Nearly identical to the first, except that I was able to maneuver around these with patience by walking sideways at specific angle. I was also able to get across them using the kill-cam method I described.

Just thought I'd share a nasty glitch in the hopes that it just might get fixed eventually, and the workaround I found (even if it requires a rather specific skill-set for your character). I encountered this glitch playing an Altmer, but I am unsure whether height makes a difference definitely know it does now. As for the version, I'm playing on Xbox with patch 1.7, as well as both Dawnguard and Hearthfire installed.
