Just to test things out, I set both settings to 100 then went to fight a couple of high level imperial soldiers. One ended up decapitated and the other cut in half. You do have to be quite close and aim for a particular spot for the criticals to happen, the settings seem to work fine. Tough, high level NPC's help too maybe, tend to find that longer fights end with criticals.

Edit: I spy a Skycaptain visiting. :wave: :P

I'll try 100/100 and see...and I try to be close and aim at the head. Or at least I put all the efforts on doing that :)

DR6 is working fine for me almost in its entirety - weapon throwing, decapitations, the momentum bar, etc, apart from slightly weird but significant bug - I'm not getting the updated 1st person animations, which creates weird camera-in-skull glitches when using any of the DR moves. I've tried using BAIN install and manual install, and the _1stPerson animations files are all there, but for some reason the game isn't rendering the animations. Anyone have any idea why?

Not that I've installed intentionally - where would I check for the skeleton? Infact, I think HGEC alters the skeleton - would that be incompatible? Kind of odd since I'm playing a male character anyway...

DR's is in meshes\characters\_1stperson. Using HGEC too, so probably not it. Does it work ok if only DR is enabled?

Yeah thats where all mine are. And no, it doesnt work even if only Oblivion and DR are ticked - sounds like I've got a wrong skeleton, but I just unpacked the Rar again into data over the top of everything and there's a skeleton.egf in there which should've acted as a replacer if I didn't have the right one - still nothing. Any more ideas?

Edit: Just a thought - theres no sort of Oblivion.ini tweak that might revert the animations or anything?
Edit2: Temporarily removed my meshes folder and just installed DR - still nothing.

Did you edit fneardistance in the oblivion.ini, to something like 6? Other than that, really can't think of anything else sorry. :sad:

It's currently set to 0, would that affect anything? And as an update to the problem, I went into TFC to check what i was actually seeing with my arms in front of my face - When I use a DR move, my arms shoot about a foot upwards and turn 90 degrees to the left. But I'm definitely not getting the 3rd person 1st person animations like one would with LoupSombre's mod. I'm completely stumped, and I'd quite like to be able to play in first person...

That sounds quite wrong. o.o Stumped too don't know what else to suggest, but wonder if it's related to your load order. Like EVE_StockEquipmentReplacer.esp, you don't need it in FCOM. Is it possible for you to get a clean install to try DR with?

Any chance we can get "jumping when stuck" npc behavior back? At one time SC sent me the mod to make npcs try and jump over obstacles when trying to attack, and it worked awesome. I believe the plan was to implement that into dr6, but I've not seen that behavior...

I sure wish I could find that mod...

Is there any way of lowering the chance of critical elemental magic hits via the console with DR5? I like the feature but it happens too often IMO.

Note by Skycaptain: Skycaptain wrote on magic mechanics bug: The bug is idiotic - the chance formula is missing a divide by 100. So the chance is 100 times bigger than it should be. Thanks to the multiplier in the INI, you can easily fix this yourself temporarily - just change the default "magicCriticalMult" in the INI from 1 to 0.01, to comply with the 100 times larger-than-intended magic critical chance.

Thanks. Using DR5, though, so have no ini - but perhaps set scc.magiccriticalmult or set magiccriticalmult will work. I'll check.

I love DR6 my only problem with this mod is that it can lose stability and break, mostly it happens in a cluttered area after using a sweep across kick and receiving a wired animation on that kick (the toon do a revolving jump around the enemy).
When this happens a reset or a clean save can fix the issue, but it is annoying whatsoever.

So far the main files have been stable for me (esm, Combat Moves, Mounted Casting). Using any of the other options, including DLT (old version is part of OOO), is a gamble. That said, I have 1 minor bug report. The Import Graphics option of the esp will overwrite the custom spell icons of LAME, even though BAIN doesn't list any conflicts between the 2 mods. I don't know how much of DR6's effects (like magic crits) rely on Import Graphics, or will simply work b/c the esp is activated. I am hesitant to even try DR6 without the graphics import though, so I can't test this :brokencomputer: Does anybody else have information about this bug/conflict?

I don't see my legs :(

But when I use "TFC" console command, I see all body (without head) with legs, like it should.

The problem is that the "1st_person_body" rotate when i look down on my legs and i don't see anything.
More I look down - more angle of "1st_person_body" rotation i have.

How to solve it ? Help please.

PS: i deactivate all mods accept "SP1stPLegs.esp", start new game but nothing changed ...

Did you click on the Skull of Legs in your inventory and enable the legs? Anyway, I don't really recommend enabling them, it tends to CTD when switching between 1st person and 3rd person view and it doesn't exactly enhance gameplay. There's also the annoying equipping sound whenever you switch views.

Yes, the skull was activated.
And i saw changes, but with "TFC" command only.

I thought it can be linked with skeleton somehow, but it is not.
Any skeleton rotated when i move head down or up.(when i look extremely down - my "1st_person_body" accepts horizontal position)

Maybe some changes in "Oblivion.ini" cause that ? (head tracking for example, I will check this out...)

It is interesting - HOW it can work for other people (this mod have ~20 endorsemant) ?

Well, another thing you can try is don't wear gloves or rings, see whether the legs show up. It's actually covered in the 1st person legs readme. I got around this particular limitation by enabling unlimited rings in the bash patch but as I've mentioned I disabled the legs since switching views can cause CTD's.

Hi Thanks for all the help in bug reports and user tips.

Now my DR6 is runnig almost perfect.

The only issue i have is with UV.

Is DR6 compatible with UV? Is anyone running they together?
I ask because i cant use the offhand function of UV with DR6.
If i try to put a weapon offhand the game crash.
I even remove the hotkey to do that.

Any help will be great :D

I think that for an imrpovement to DR6 would be being able to throw your shield along with your weapon. If all else fails... :devil: It'd be pretty cool to decapitate someone with a shield... Or at least snap the neck depending on force of impact.

That is, if you're still open for suggestions.

i have a few bugs/conflicts i think

1 game doesnt ask me for bash/horsecombat/dodge keys
2 when i fight there is no gore and when enemies kill me there is gore
3 the hourglass doesnt work
4 enemies can do shieldbash and i cant

plz help me
