I'm planning on using only Light armor (for sneaking and stealth)...so is Daedric worth unlocking?

I have 100 Smithing and thought I could get Daedric right after Dragon on the tree list. I have not unlocked the Dwarven, Orc, Ebony path.

I thought I could go from Dragon Armor to Daedric but it doesnt seem to let me go to the right side of the path...which means I have to unlock the other three.

So...is Daedric or Ebony worth it?

Just for weapons? No. Fully upgraded glass isn't that far behind daedric to my knowledge.

Both Ebony and Daedric weapons are stronger than the Glass ones you have available, but the difference is probably fairly negligible. I wouldn't bother as you'll be able to pick up those weapons as random loot as you level up.

As above, the weapons are indeed an improvement, but glass is very capable.

The big issue is that if you haven't put any perks in smithing yet, it might be best to go the heavy armour route over the light route, as dragonbone perk gives access to both light and heavy versions (and dragonscale armour is best light armour). This gives you access to daedric weapons and dragonscale. The cost is that smithing is less effective for the 1-100 "journey" of smithing.

I was thinking mainly Armor. I have Legendary Glass armor and weapons right now.

I just looked at the Dragon armor..not really liking the look. Is fully upgraded Dragonscale armor better in stats than fully upgraded Glass in terms of stats? By alot or is it close?

I have all the left side perks for Smithing..up to Dragon.

You cant Sneak while wearing heavy armor right?

I don't think you'll notice the difference (the margin won't be huge). Looks FTW
