Having said our goodbyes I trotted further down the road when I spied a sabre cat up ahead. Well, not wanting trouble for either beast or man I used a Thu'um I had learned that tames the savage beasts. While the cat certainly didn't seem to mind, the revelers I had just left behind became quite aggitated for some reason and began attacking me. I had no desire to hurt my new found friends so I decided it was best if I just scurried away and let them calm down and think about what they had just done.
A month later I was walking up the path toward Hollyfrost farm when I saw I a fight taking place up ahead of me. As it turned out it was those same revelers I had met earlier. Apparently, they had not yet calmed down and were intent on doing me bodily harm. To my surprise, however, I had gained some unexpected allies who came rushing to my defense. The goats in the neighborhood apparently felt the revelers were in the wrong for attacking me and decided to come to my aid.
Let me just say, if you don't have very high health and you are not wearing any armor and your only weapon is an iron dagger, you might want to think twice before taking on a flock of goats. Of course, it didn't help that my erstwhile, mead-swilling friends concentrated their attacks on me, leaving the goats to freely batter and ram away at them. And although two of my new horned friends ended up dead, so did all the mead-mad revelers. And I never laid a hand on them. It was all the goats doing and none of my own!
