As mentioned later in the thread, I've decided to go with a Feudal Japan mod, so the poll is closed, sorry:
So soon you'll start to see some news of the Sengoku mod, but the project's current banner can be viewed http://i43.tinypic.com/j7yyxy.jpg
Again, thank you all for voting.
Hello. I'm quite new to the forums.
I've been doing Oblivion and Morrowind modding for about 5 years now. And I've made multiple small-scale mods. I plan to make a big mod for Skyrim with a few of my friends, but I can't decide on a location and setting. There are 4 settings that I think would be great to make and play around in, but I would like the community's opinion on the best. Some info on each one:
Feudal Japan - approx. 1580-1600
During the 16th Century, Japan was engulphed by an era cival war that raged on for more than 100 years. Players would be able to see real-life locations, join samurai armies/clans and attempt to make their clan the best in Japan, become a ninja or just try to make a living in a time of chaos.
Akavir - 3E 430
Akavir is located to the east of Tamriel. My idea is that it would follow the adventures of the Nerevarine to Akavir after the events of Morrowind. The player would be able to either join the Ka'Po Tun and wipe out the last of the Snake People. Or join the Tsaesci and regain supremacy in Akavir.
High Rock - 4E 200
This would be more of an expansion to Skyrim. Adding no new Main Quest, but lots of side quests, shrines and, most of all, a new environment to run around in.
Hammerfell - 4E 200
Similar to High Rock, an expansion to Skyrim. Lots of side quests and the chance to find powerful artefacts in the great Alik'r Desert.
So go vote away and post any questions or comments here. And keep an eye open for my mod in the future...

Edit: P.S. A vote in the poll is 1 vote. If you take the time to comment, I'll count it as 2 votes

I feel the game is perfect for those kinds of worlds...
