My deepest grattitude and love

At 11/11/11, 11:11am, Skyrim was finally mine. I've like, most of you, read the concerns about PC textures, some of the bugs, and the UI. I don't care. I trust patches will come in the future to further polish your gem. You have yet to disappoint me with any game you've released yet. With the risk of sounding like a silly really devoted fan, I think you need more hugs during this stormy release, so I'll be the one sending them while other fans and your staff deal with the cosmetic flaws. The story and the world is finally mine for the taking, and I think it will not be a disappointment. :)

I also thank you for the complementary HUGE guide, the poster and the T-Shirt that followed with my pre order at Gamestop. Maybe it was their offer, but I thank you for creating the source for these items.

With much love from Sweden,
Back.

It's good to finally possess The One Game To Rule Them All :foodndrink:

But bear in mind lots of other people will be buying it too, let's hope they don't all come to make a thread about it

Aw, that was sweet. *adds another hug* As far as I'm concerned games are a work of art, and Skyrim is a damn masterpiece.

Ya I have to chime in here. I know I will come off as a complete fan boy here, but seriously. This game is almost like a projection of what I wished games would be like 10 years ago. Its like they reached into my brain and pulled out my dreams and turned it into a game. It is indeed a work of art. Its an amazing time to be a gamer, but not just because of Skyrim, but because games have progressed so far that developers are finally at a point where their imaginations aren't held back by technological limitations. Bethesda is not the only company creating master pieces. Dices Battlfield 3 and Infinity Wars Call of Duty Modern Warefare 3 just to name a couple also deserve considerable notice. Gaming has become so much more fun these days than I ever remember it. There is so much more focus on fun and entertainment rather than making gaming a chore. I also love the fact that gaming isn't just about graphics, that gameplay can still rule the day. Take Minecraft as an example, what a great achievement where even in a world of boxes you can be imersed and entertained.

Again... so amazingly fun to be a gamer right now.

I have the exact opposite feeling. I wanted the physical copy for once. With the map atleast. Never arrived. Downloading with steam now.

Nice to finally see a post congratulating this amazing game.
I wholeheartedly agree, Skyrim is without a doubt the single best RPG I have ever played in my entire life.
sure there are a couple minor things I would have done differently (unbreakable equipment? really?) but nothing huge, overall I am more than impressed.

Thank you Bethesda :)
