Delivery

Been waiting for my copy of Skyrim to be delivered from amazon. It doesn't even say it is out for delivery yet... Kinda pissed right now. Anyone know if there is anything I can do?

Email them, and voice your displeasure. That may get some cogs moving. Amazon seem to be having issues getting stuff out on time these days, no idea what's up with that.

I guess they don't deliver on holidays?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?? Exact quote from amazon.

Vishal:I'm sorry; because the release date falls on a holiday, the item won't be delivered on the release date, but the following business day. The date you're seeing at check-out is the correct estimated delivery.

Amazon.com right? Didn't the U.S just have Veteran's Day or something? I guess that's the holiday they are referring to. We have a similar thing here in the UK, but it doesn't stop deliveries (such as they are).

Heh, online shopping used to be far better than the high-street, but that seems to have changed over the last year or so. Still waiting on my copy, thanks to Amazon UK using Royal Fail's useless delivery service.

Wal-Mart doesn't have the PC version... /facepalm. Now I have to drive all the way to the mall about half an hour out of my way to get the game. that is if they have it. I am currently on hold trying to talk to someone about availability.

Yes I even talked to an online chat person. They said it won't be shipped because of the holiday.

Sounds like they're out of supply, but are too cowardly to tell you the truth.

Never had an issue with amazon delivering when I chose release date delivery. Did you order from amazon.com or one of the other sites? Also, when uses release date delivery, Amazon using UPS, so the veteran's day wouldn't affect that.

Yeah, I figured they used UPS, and I knew that ups was working on the 11th because I saw some of their trucks delivering [censored].
