A well dressed man appears in front of you. He offers you a fork, a staff and a block of cheese. He promises you a great reward if you choose one, then get to the next village over and plant it in the market square. Would you do it? What do you think would happen if you did?

Well, i would choose the Staff if i am playing a mage character and cheese otherwise. The staff probably causes something REALLY bad to happen and the cheese would just make everyone really hungry.

The man is clearly Sheogorath. Since he's always interesting company, yes I would do it.

If I plant the fork in the center of the town, the entire town disappears and is transported to the Shivering Isles. You see, it is Sheogorath's dinner fork and he has devoured the town.
If I plant the cheese in the center of town, a massive cheese tree grows in a matter of days. At first the people are grateful for the free food, until they realize that they cannot eat the cheese fast enough. The cheese begins to rot on the tree and the smell is unbearable.
If I plant the staff in the center of town, all of the people in the the town are transformed into various animals, daedra, and intimate objects. Clearly, the staff was the Wabbajack.

Sounds like enough of a random occurrence to be related to a Daedric Prince. But I don't think it is related to Sheogorath.

Edit: Yeah, the well dressed part indeed portrays good ole Sheo.

Yeaaah. To be John, I'm getting a little sick of Sheogorath and the whole cheese thing, so I definitely wouldn't be taking the cheese...block.

My guess if I took the fork that me or someone or everyone would be getting goosebumps.

Ahem.

Sheogorath's artifacts include a staff (the Wabbajack) and a fork (the Fork of Horripilation.) He's also obsessed with cheese.

Beat me to it! One would think if you took the fork, big head might come for it.
