I rented Crysis 2 on Wednesday after looking at some reviews and gameplay videos. I wasn't even interested in the game previous to this due to the futuristic style, but decided to give it a chance. I have been very impressed with many aspects of the game. It controls great, looks gorgeous, and I have had no technical glitches so far. BUT here is my issue:

As i said this game was not on my list of anticipated games due to the futuristic style. I was pleasantly surprised to see that you have game modes with the nanosuit The problem is that you need to be level 28 to play this mode. I understand needing to have unlockables for guns and attachments, but having the choice of game modes should be available at the start. I have leveled up to level 16 so far and have hated every minute of it. Invisible people and super speed make this game unplayable to me. I can't try the one mode I want because I have to suffer through hours and hours of gameplay that I don't like.

SADLY, this means that I will return the rental and never purchase this game. Why would you not make this mode available from the start? It gives more people the opportunity to enjoy the game. My group of friends all ask if they should get this game. I explain the nanosuit abilities and how it ruins the game for me and now none of them want to try it either. I would believe that we are not alone in this and you could be potentially losing countless sales by this decision.

For the people looking for futurisrtic gameplay this game is awesome, but why make people lookign for a more realistic feel sluge through 28 levels to play the mode they would enjoy?
