Torchlight for fun, mindless combat

Titan Quest for coop multiplayer (playing it alone isn't much fun)

Sacred was pretty awesome. Big world where you can travel nearly anywhere from the start. Fun skill system and lots of hacking and slashing.

Havent played Sacred 2, didn't look nearly as good.

i have both  got bored of torchlight though after i beat the main quest and used a ton of mods

have a character at level 66 on legendary (which i already beat) for titan quest.. put it on hold for now till i can be bothered to max level which will take a very long time :snoring:

Darkstone. If you can get past the rather awkward 3D polygonal graphics, it's quite the Diablo-clone fun. Cheap on GoG.com now too. Plus you can play with two chrs. at once if you want. There's runes (if you can get them to drop) for enchanting spells/skills on to items too. Don't expect anything innovative - but it is fun.

Your missing Grim Dawn (although it's not out yet it has been in dev since 2009 ish?) It's being made by ex-Iron Lore guys (2), the guys who brought you Titan Quest. Here is a link to their Kickstarter project they just launched a few days ago check it out if you like it spread the word .

Oh you know what, have you heard of Path of Exile? They were in beta last I knew...not sure if it's open beta yet. .... no, looks like still closed beta, they just had some public stress testing weekends. http://www.pathofexile.com/

Anyway, if it sounds interesting, and you still need one to get in/play it, I think I have a spare beta key I never gave away. PM me if you want it.

I haven't played it in some time. It's interesting, looks nice, has a MASSIVE MASSIVE and wild skill path tree, but (last time I checked) was a bit linear and item stuff was a bit odd.

Buy it now and help it get released faster? ;)

On a side note, I didn't very much like PoE the skill tree was huge but it only added x y z damage speed etc. The skill system was intresting but kind of annoying and the currency seriously made my brain explode? Just give me gold.

Grim Dawn is what I'm waiting for. Diablo 3 is what will hold me over.

I'm waiting for Grim Dawn before I play any of these types of games. I have enough other games to keep me busy until then.

ds3 was a huge let down so i agree. the original was a bit too bland for me but ds2 was a great game

Hmm, these are probably no good (you seem to be looking for PC games), but the PS2 had....

No. Definitely not. NWN2 is a party-based RPG more akin to Baldur's Gate or something like that.

The first Diablo?

Unless you already played it.

I know of Vindictus and Rusty Hearts, but they're free mmos with playstyle similar to Guild Wars. Still it's killing many enemies type of gameplay.
