I got overnight shipping but it still says it hasn't shipped. Should I be worried?

I also ordered from Gamestop (US), but I did regular shipping. I heard that even without overnight shipping stores will still mail things 3-4 days early to get it to you on 11/11. My order has yet to say shipped. Will they just wait till Friday to ship, so I'll received the game mid-week, next week? Or is it possible that the order status is just not updated correctly, and I still may get the game Friday or Saturday?

Any ideas?

I have the same issue, and I have Express Shipping included.
I kind of looked around my order and checked on other shipping methods, and it told me Skyrim is Backordered? :(

There's another thread I just read, Gamestop is holding to the 11 November release date, no early release sigh.

Since the PC patch already has been released (2.8MB), and the PS3 patch has been released, it would be nice if after the 360 patch is released, Bethasda tells everyone to ship it early.

I ordered through Gamestop, 3-day shipping, so probably next Tuesday/Wednesday. Friday is a national holiday in the US, so the postal service will not be working, but I read yet another thread that indicates most companies use Fedex/UPS, etc. Noboby seems to use postal service to ship things.

I pre-ordered online but indicated the pick up at store option. Gamestop's website is still stating my order's status as still 'open'. I'm sure they'll start shipping orders tomorrow (they better be), but I'm just as anxious to get my hands on Skyrim and my CE guide.

Amazon shipped my PC CE out yesterday, i have yet to not get my preordered games on release day from amazon. However the first time and last time i preordered a game from gamestop.com i got it a day late (Halo:Reach) and had to avoid xbox live at all costs so my friends wouldn't spoil it for me.

This is ridiculous, gamestop's customer service is "too busy" to take calls and their website thing is broken, what a joke. I try to click cancel but it gives me an error and tells me to e-mail so I did and told them to cancel my order. I'm just gonna pick it up tomorrow. If they really haven't shipped it yet and its 3 pm there's no way I'll get it tomorrow. [censored] gamestop, at least their website.

Same here. Gamestop hasn't updated/shipped my preorder of a Collector's Edition, but I'm not overly worried. It's a shame that Bethesda couldn't have come up with some way to preorder a collector's Edition with digital download so that the game can be played at release... I had to spend an extra $60 (though I will recoup that money when I pawn off the CD key to my bro).

I just noticed that Gamestop charged my card for the Skyrim CE strategy guide, but the website is still stating my order status as 'open'. Darn it!! I'm sick of seeing that same old open status!! :banghead: Tell me something already Gamestop!!

My card has been charged as well, but my CE is still showing as open also.

Not sure what to make of it, but on Gamestop's website my acct status just changed to closed. It has either shipped and I'll receive it tomorrow, or I'll be buying from a different retailer from now on. :swear:

Don't any of you read the 'help' section on GameStop? It says concerning preorders, they sometimes ship the item DIRECTLY from the facility where it's made; the website will not update to say it has been shipped and will not receive a tracking number, because it is literally too fast for them to update it on time. And as for CE, that doesn't ship from GameStop, those usually arrive faster.
