Did Dawnguard add any locations to find the original Falmer : V

From my knowledge there was only one place to obtain it, a Dwemer ruin that I have long since forgotten the name of.
Can you loot if off of the Falmer now? I've only seen the new armor on them, though I'm a high level so I thought perhaps it just wasn't showing for me.

That the old falmer armor (not ancient) does spawn with it now or that it's still only available in one dungeon?

i don't think that Dawnguard add any new locations to find the old falmer armor, but the dwemer ruin name Mzinchaleft has the armor in it.

you get it when getting the bow...so in one dungeon

there are two "new" forms of falmer armor in the DLC that i found anyway...one is like the twisted falmer armor but its called hardened falmer armor..the other is called ancient falmer armor...it should have been called snow elven armor tho...

Yes it does a Snow elf Arch-Curate created the prophecy in the elder scrolls, because he hated Akatosh for leaving him once he became a vampire.

Just check the old Falmer hideouts, they still carry the stuff. Darkfall Cave is chock full of Falmer, too.

OP is talking about gloves, boots, and cuirass of the regular falmer armor.

Without spoilers:

Auriel is the patron to the Snow Elves, who the Falmer used to be. Blue/white skinned elves who held part of Skyrim as their kingdom. Auriel's Shield and Bow were in Morrowind.

He has a part to play in Dawnguard, thus involving the Falmer, as Auriel was to the Falmer as Talos is to Nords.

I agree, however I wish the added a helmet to the armor set because I am curious as to what it would look like.

But then our perks in light armor would apply. Wait a minute, isn't that a good thing? *glares at bethesda. They really slipped up by not making a helmet, even if it was just hard to find*

I really like the hardened armor. Great alternative to Daedric if you want the spiky/evil stereotype look. I really do like it though. I looted it off the Falmer Warlord, and it made me want to make a badass "warlord" character of my own and wear it.

Sorry, I wasn't aware that talking about armor was a spoiler, it didn't give anything away about the story.
I didn't say it was "snow elf armor" and was in no way referring to anything story related, I was talking about the vanilla Falmer armor.
I didn't think it was any more of a spoiler than members talking about vampires or werewolf perk trees in the main forum.

I guess the other posters made it a spoiler thread though, it was not my intention however.
