Did I missed something, or did the Workshop really outmoded

Well, hello guys, back from a long hiatus, that's the first question comming to my mind. I have the impression that the WS surpassed the Nexus. There's tons of mods I can't find on the Nexus, and most of the other mods that are on the Nexus, get much more subscriptions on WS then downloads on the Nexus. Was their a wave of refugees by peope getting banned over at the Nexus. Please enlighten me.

Workshop downloads are at like maybe 20 million, Nexus passed 100 million like a few months ago. Nexus is definitely still outdoing the workshop. Mainly because the workshop has such strong limitations on what mods can be posted there.

I understand that the Nexus has still much more downloads, but it feels like WS is catching up faster as when initially started.

Some people prefer Nexus, others prefer Workshop, and some modders support both.

That's why there's such a difference in the amount of mods in each one.

Even though I don't particularly like the Nexus, I'll be supporting both once Eye of Argonia is released, and I'll probably upload it to TES Alliance as well. (whoops, did I just announce my secret mod?) Giving people as many choices as possible is always a good thing, whether it's in a mod's questline, or just letting them pick the sites they like best.

I agree with your arguments, but in the long run, all the work I had with keeping my mod tracked on two sides, I ultimatively decided to make it Nexus exclusive. Things are so much easier over there.
