Did not recieve hardcoe acheivement

Post » Tue Feb 01, 2011 10:13 pm

I just finished the game and played through the entire game on harcore mode and at the end i did not recieve the achievement i am now unbelievebly frustrated over the amount of glitches that have occured in this game i have been trapped on invisible walls and have to restart and reload dozens of times because of quests glitching and not working to the point in which the quest cannot be completed the amount of glitches in this game were absolutely insane and it is very dissapointing that New Vegas was released with the number of bugs it has, what should i do now? i do not want to go all the way through the game on hardcoe mode again, that is completely unfair.

I know 100000% for a fact that i never switched hardcoe mode off for a single second ever, from the moment the game asked to play hardcoe mode to the end, I played the game with hardcoe enable, on hard difficulty and i cannot believe the game glitched as much as it has, what does everyone think i shoiuld do now?

i can understand why you'd be frustrated with glitches in the game, but come on...its just an achievement...a minor annoyance at the worst...

A minor annoyance for anyone who cares little for achievements. Others, like myself (and I'm guessing the OP too), care quite a lot about earning the achievements that we intentionally play for, especially in games such as FNV where it could require 10s of hours of replay if it glitches first time.

For the OP, try the guide listed here for a proven quick method of gaining the achievement: http://www.trueachievements.com/a68145/hardcoe-achievement.htm?showguides=1. And while you're there, you should register, it's a great site for tracking achievements and finding guides etc.

i take my time on bethesda games and it took me 27 hours to complete just the main story and i was planing on doing everything else on normal so i beat the game expecting to get the achievement and move on with the game, but that obviously didnt work out, 27 hours for an achievement only to not get it is more than a minor annoyance.

lol you serious? I don't care much for achievements myself don't get me wrong but literally the only reason to go through the headache of doing hardcoe mode is for the achievement. So hell yeah I expect this guy to be pissed... Not many people do hardcoe mode for fun because it is a headache keeping yourself rested properly and drinking water and eating food. Since I for one and not an achievement chaser I will never touch hardcoe mode.
