Did the previous elder scroll games ever get patched for balance?

From what the mod said here, I'm guessing they're not going to patch skyrim for balance

If not then I don't think I'll ever create a full mage char.

No because it is a single player game

Not an mmo

Not an e-sport

If you are having issues playing a mage, lower difficulty.
If you are [censored] things with warrior, increase difficulty.
Try to play with difficulty until u find perfect mix of challenge and fun for your build.

cuz that's a char with 2 hand + enchant + smith + heavy armor fully perked

vs

a char with destro + conj perked?

4 tree vs 2 tree is supposed to make difference.
