Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo.

Now where will I be able to talk honestly about the state of the industry without getting flamed by devoted corporation fans that foam at the mouth to defend Call of Dragon Age: Black Ops 6?

And avoid getting banned by the mods for "trolling" too?

=== Bioware Forums -- Days after DA II release ===

Lots of posters: "Bioware dropped the ball. DA II is worse than horrible as a sequel and outright bad as a game. I'd call it the disappointment of the decade but Duke Nukem Forever will soon become that."

Bioware Moderators: "BANNED FOR TWO WEEKS! Trolling is forbidden, end of line."

Bioware Moderators after 2 weeks: "Ok, we're creating a separate criticism subforum. We're going to completely ignore it, not read it, and leave it as an unmoderated hellhole. Have fun! P.S. Anyone caught expressing negative opinions about DA II outside of the designated opinion ghetto will be BANNED!"

Codex is a safe haven from the moderator abuse that happens on official forums from the likes of Chris Priestly, Woo, and co. These forums are pretty good, but I know there's a mod here that will ban you if you express a negative opinion about used sales of recent, in-print AAA titles. They must work at / own a Gamestop or something. I saw someone here saying EA's online pass system to curb used sales was good / suggesting Skyrim use it and they got a warn + suspension for that. And I've seen the same mod lock threads / delete posts that were similar.

I have no idea, just avoid bioware forums, their mods are the worst. Woo loves to lock threads and just say "spam". And then you have the fact they ban you from gmes you buy.

Well [censored] I wanted to see their oppinion on skyrim, and maybe if I fixed my PC and got into rpgs like planescape, I could see others talk about it.

You really think the codex was a bad thing?

They were the first ones to call out Dragon Age II as a failure.

Are they closing or are they relaunching? The struckout gog.com they initially signed with suggests the latter to me.

For a long time we had substantial problems with troll attacks being organized on their forums. It eventually got to the point where the website was blacklisted. On that note, *click.*
