I don't care how they word it as long as it fixes the problem.

Yea, everything else on that list says fixed. "Improved" just tells us that they know damn well there's a big chance it won't fix jack [censored].

If it infuriates you it's because you are looking at it as a non-technical person. The release notes are TECHNICAL NOTES, and as such they are referring to the issue as "occasional" because, by definition, it is an OCCASIONAL issue. It happens OFF and ON for DIFFERENT PEOPLE at DIFFERENT TIMES.

They need to look at Amazon reviews. According to the amount of agreement (thumbs up) with the negative reviews relating to unplayable lag, this is a widespread issue, and most certainly not 'occasional'. Are they really that out if touch? :|

The word "occasional" is what gets people mad. And I understand the frustration.

I'm just surprised at how little it fixes considering how many bugs there are...there is no mention of any fixes to quest related bugs...I was holding off playing the game till they fixed those issues but I too may now get broken quests....looks like I will be waiting for further patches before I play it....

Then where else would they read our feedback? It's the only place they'll read us, Fotomoose.

Lol, so technical.

Here's another translation:

"we put a temporary band-aid over the issue because the only way to ACTUALLY fix it... is to rebuild the game engine from the ground up and change how it uses resources to work properly with PS3 hardware, which none of our programers are as familiar with. So we copy and paste it over from the xbox/PC and cross our fingers that everything works fine".

There's probably some dude from Bethesda (an actual developer) who's skimming these forums for his own amusemant, reading this and thinking to himself, "lol, funny cause its true" :disguise:

Rather surprised the negative feedback this post received. There's not a word of technical jargon in that, and release notes are the notes, that are released, to the general public. I wouldn't care that these were so vague and damage-controlly if Bethesda made any mention whatsoever of the severity of the problem through more formal public channels. It's just pathetic that this is in fact as close as they've come to addressing a crippling problem with their software. Certainly moreso than the patch itself does -__-
