Did they fixed the 10000 gold investment?

Launched Skyrim today, saw Steam update the game. It seems that the Riverwood Trader doesn't have 10000 gold anymore after investing. He was my main source for end game money and bulk-selling all of the junk collected over the course of this character's 100+ hour journey. :/

Haven't checked that lately, probably should. If you are on pc you can just open the console click on the merchant and type additem f 10000 and then he'll have 10k gold. =)

Ohh, such a shame! Guess my character needs to join the Thieves guild to get access to fences then. :P

This might only affect new games. I just tested it a couple of times, and my Lucan still has 10k+ barter gold after every refresh.

Well, after calming down (and playing Neverwinter Nights 2 out of frustration)...

I'd like to know if this is a change introduced in the Unofficial Patches? I run no mods, only the unofficial patches.

http://www.gamesas.com/topic/1420181-relzwipz-unofficial-skyrim-patch-thread-17/ is the best place to ask that question. I doubt very much they would have deliberately nerfed Lucan's gold supply, though.
