Seriously. I have played for 3-4 hours (it arived today) and I REALLY think it's hillarious that all the soldiers in Whiterun talk like Arnold Schwartznegger .. hahaha great game though !

Have you noticed anything els funny about the voice acting ?

It doesn't sound much like him to me. More like a bad scandinavian accent. I'm probably as bad but i like to think I got a perfect english accent :biggrin:

By bad i dont mean its a bad atempt to do a scandinavian accent, I mean that most i know and hear have less of an accent.

There are four accents - Swedish (some of the Whiterun guards, it sounds the funniest haha), Finnish (Ralof and many others like Vilkas etc.), German and American. And some women seem to have a Russian type of accent.

Keep in mind though I've only played for 15 hours maybe and have only seen Whiterun, Riverwood and a few dungeons, plus some places in Whiterun hold.

Seriously, it's not an uncommon accent. Especially for Nordic people.

Agreed. It sounds like an american doing a nordic accent.

Some things I love about the dialogue is that the guards will comment on your choice of weapon/armor. Funny thing though is that (for no reason, as far as I know) Bethesda recorded the same guard dialogue twice. Once for men, once for women. I would have took the opportunity to have the women say different things - because it doesn't save on disc space (or actor time), I guess the writers just got lazy.
