Did you even test the game before selling it?

Currently, this looks and plays like [censored]

System Spec:
Asus Crosshair IV Formula
16GB Corsair Dominator DDR3
ATI Radeon HD 6970 2GB DDR5
AMD Phenom2 X6 1100T 4.0Ghz (Water cooled)
850W Antec 80Plus PSU
1TB 7200Rpm HDD

I have had no issue with the game crashing.
my frame rates are horrbile, and the textures load and then unload when turning back and forth like wtf. its bad enough they dont load in the first place.
I understand that its ATI thats having a problem but did you ever consider testing the game on an ATI card before releasing it to the public that have ati cards?

you guys pulled the same [censored] with Brink and i had no choice but to fight with steam to get my money back. Great work 100 bucks says Skyrim will fail even harder

P.S- The "new drivers" didnt do anything people are having to manually go threw and use console commands to fix your bad game. why pay 60 bucks for something your gonna have to fix? it should work from the time you get the money scrubs
Stop being lazy and console porting all your games

Is it me, or does this guy just QQ and double his system specs? When I see system specs, I assume its 1/2 of what they are really saying, cause every single person is like "my computer is beast, look at my specs, I got to type them in, so the specs are legit". snip

Also, he assumes that he KNOWS for a fact that the game was never tested on certain gfx cards...lol.

He also assumes that the company is lazy cause they port to consoles...lol.

anyways, this guy sure did make my morning. Im gonna go get a cup of snip tea and read some more snip

It's you. You're also too aggressive and personal in your approach.

Calling other members troll or noob on these forums is considered flaming, so please keep that out of your posts.

When someone says they know for a fact that a company didnt so something, is either:

A: they work for the company and know the details about it (which in this case, ill retract my statements)

or

B: they are just a raging kid who has no idea about the gaming industry and hardware specs.

I'll apologize for feeding him toll candy, but seriously. I respect the game and the company. When someone has problems, they need to file a support ticket, not vent it out on the forums cause he's the only one claiming 'he knows for a fact'.

Anyways, I'm going back to my eggs and hash browns breakfast. I'll keep what you call 'to aggressive' down a notch for the future pointless posts :D

You should stop kissing ass and look at the fact that 90% of the players wasted 60 bucks on a complete piece of [censored] Alpha/Beta version for the PC. The devs, or at leat who gave the green light on the PC launch this early should be at least fired for their [censored] decision. Did they even install it on a PC version with medium specs to see what a disaster it is? If so, how on Earth would they launch it and even charge 60 bucks for it? There are games made two decades ago that have less technical issues than this.

This is basically scamming people. If a game is launched then by default it should at least RUN in a stable manner on all PC's within the spec range.

The devs and producers should take notes from the people in charge with LA Noire, who took their time to ensure a successful PC version of it like they are supposed to do.

All I can hope now is that they will launch a decent patch sometime this year. Considering how competent they are, I can't expect anything good to be done too soon by them. There are better chances of seeing fan created fixes for it.

Well I hope you guys learned a lesson and won't be pre-ordering Skyrim like sheep, even though it's too late and I've already done it.

Hm, I'm not seeing anywhere in the OPs post where he states he "knows for a fact". Are we reading the same post? And considering his last edit was several hours before you posting, I don't think he changed what it was you initially read. I would say he's not the one being a troll.

And BTW, as well as filing a trouble ticket, 'venting' on the forums is a very effective way of voicing ones frustration and unhappiness with a product that does not work, especially when he is not the only one having the same issues.

I love Bethesda and the games they've put out, same with id Software, still doesn't mean I'm going to just stand by let a bad product slide. I don't care who the company is or their track record. It's your type of attitude today that is directly responsible for the decline in the quality of customer service in this country.

Why do people disregard the fact that they had to test and tune and entire engine? Not just a game built on that specific engine. This is not some candy land, out of the box, runs on old technology game. And um, as far as I have noticed, everyone with an ATI video card is having issues. Some people with nVidia also, but not half as bad as you ATI users. Also, if you can find me some facts that ATI > nVidia, please let me know. ATI is a dying breed. nVidia has them beat big time these days.

Because AMD/ATI is still widely used and considered standard hardware.

These threads just to rant are not helpful. This section of the forum is to document your issues in threads with like issues in hopes solutions can be found. Feel free to post to document your problems and seek assistance or offer assistance. The more documentation of problems, the quicker the problems can be identified. Be sure to include your specs, detailed information of what the problem is and to check the pinned threads for help prior to posting.

Posting just to rant displace threads that are made by people actually wanting solutions.

Also please let technical support know of your issues.
