did you install gamepatch?

Post » Sun May 13, 2012 10:42 pm

Hi, crazy excited about the game coming.

A request....
When you post a topic here, would you please state whether you did both the mandatory game install and the 1.1 patch?
tia!

Some of the posts don't specify and I keep wondering if that's part of the problem.

Full disclosure: 320g ps3, bravia, also made sure I have a short, really good quality hdmi cable.

You have to do the install... there's no option. As for the PS3 update, we strongly recommend you get it.

Do I need to get a Playstation Network profile to get the download?

Also, my PS3 is one the older version. Do you know whether there will be any frame rate issues?

Why not have a PSN profile? It's possible the game will pull down the patch without one as it's usually mandatory.

Having plenty of HDD space on the system is a good idea to minimise any stuttering in game.

No.

Um, yeah you do. You can't get patches offline. There for you need to connect via PSN. Why do you go around acting like you know everything when you don't?

You do not need a PSN account to connect your PS3 to the internet. Patches do not require you to be logged in either. All you have to do is connect it to the internet.

The update message pops up when your PS3 has an internet connection, you don't need to be signed in to download them.

Well obviously if he had a internet connection set up on his PS3 he would have PSN, and he wouldn't be asking if you needed it. There for he probably doesn't have the internet hook up to his PS3 there for he does need it. Well at least the internet connected. But whats the point of doing that without PSN?
