I remember voting for Elsweyr as the province I'd prefer, but really that was more or less a tie with Skyrim - and it was pretty clear all along (with the registered trademark) that Skyrim would indeed be the setting.
Loved Bruma loved having to trek an empty frozen mountain to find Hermaeus Mora's shrine, and if it isn't Summurset Isle then can't think of anywhere better.
I'm a big fan of Black Marsh but I don't want to see its exotic awesomeness stripped down because of hardware limitation. I'd rather they do Black Marsh later, on the super computers of 2020s.
I've known it was going to be Skyrim for ages (since the trademark leak), but I would definitely have preferred the Summerset Isles for some magical high elf goodness.
I'm just happy we are getting another elder scrolls game I'm glad it's in skyrim...i just hope the series keeps going till we've been to all the places. For those who wanted a different place than skyrim, well you'll have to wait longer, but your next place will probably be on the next gen consoles, with better tech. If you look at it that way,you should be happy about it
Valenwood, Summerset, Elswyr, and Skyrim were my picks. Anything truly distinct from Cyrodiil. I loved Oblivion, but I'm ready for for something less relatable and more rugged now. The rough edges and alien atmosphere are what I loved about Morrowind, and I want that feeling back. Skyrim should do the trick, so I'm happy.
