different way to start dragonborn (spoilers)

Post » Mon Feb 04, 2013 2:51 pm

I learned bend will from the word wall and destroyed the wind stone then spoke to storn. I told him his people are free and he then asked me to find his daughter, Frea. Now i have to go to the temple of Miraak.

This is the way to start the dlc main quest without going to the greybeards and without being attacked by cultists.

Where'd you get the dragon soul?

Did you kill Murmilnir and just not visit the Greybeards? Or do dragons spawn on Solstheim even if you aren't recognised as Dovahkiin yet?

Nice job. But I like the cultists robes, gloves and boots for echanting for my mage, so I will stick to the regular way. But it is great to know that there is another way to start it.

you can still get them because you still have to go in the temple.

I know. But I want as many sets as I can, so the higher I get in level the higher the enchantment. But thanks for the info.

They do respawn... and the bodies of the ones that spawned in windhelm ( for me) dont seem to clean up.

True, the bodies do not clean up, but they stay naked, except for their undies.

There is only 1 enchantment on the cultist robes and that is 75% magika regen. It doesnt matter what lvl you are.

I like this start better because you dont know that the shout breaks the stones till a bit through the quests. I found this out by testing to see if it would have caused a glitch for breaking the stones before being asked to do it. Its really just a hidden way to start the main quest.

True, but with the right perk, you can add a second enchantment.

you can't enchant items that already have an enchantment on them.

I do not think you can add an enchantment to something that is already enchanted. Can you do it on just these robes? Am I missing something here? I have not tried it......

I didn't think you could enchant or re-enchant something that already had an enchantment on it, are you using a mod?

Pretty sure 3 more people need to make that comment in a row.
I do believe that he means that he re-enchants the rest of his gear as he levels up, not the gear that already has the enchant on it. (Keep in mind that I have no clue if the entire set is enchanted as do not play magic user ever).

You can add an enchantment, if you have the perk, to the VL Amulet, which already has an enchantment. The silver swords, which have a permenant +20 damage to all undead can take 2 enchantments. Been done. I do not know if all items that are enchanted with 1 enchantment can take a second one, but alot of them can.

Edit. I am not saying that you can re-enchant something, only add an enchantment.

I'm not sure about Vampire Lord rings, but Silver weapon's effect is not through enchantment, but a script effect that adds perk to player.

Please excuse my comment, but if you do not use magic at all, then why do you feel the need to comment on this topic? No offense meant...
