So...

My new gaming computer that can max the game hasn't arrived.

I have the choice of two things tonight.

1. PC with QuadCore 2.4GHz intel processor, GTX 260 card, 8 MB RAM with new LG 3D monitor and Bose Companion 5 speakers
2. XBox or PSP with LG 55" flatscreen with "good" speakers per consumer reports (just the speakers that came with the TV)

Which should I choose?

Obviously, you will get better graphics on your PC. Your specs are enough to get medium-highish I believe, and skyrim graphics on consoles are low with very few medium settings. So, I suppose you should go with just what you like to game on more.

I haven't really read reviews but my gaming friend at work told me that out of the 360 and PS3 the PS3 runs better as in people will appear at further distances and such but i'm not 100% on this. But pc has the most potential with mods but if you don't care about mods then i would say console.

Hmmm. The question is only for tonight. I will definitely be using the PC for mods. The question is since I don't have my new gaming rig yet should I experiment with a console. I'm going to play through vanilla the first time anyway.
